Yesterday, I talked about our emotions and how we should, in better words, keep them in check.
Well, look at my FB post this morning:
"Ok, I need to vent a little. Woke up this morning feeling wonderful as
always, preparing for all the things I need to tackle today. When I get a
knock on my door from my landlord, who I do adore, the second time this
week asking can some workers look at my wall again in my bedroom.
Today, not only did they look, they cut a hole in my wall about half the
size of a basketball backboard (that's where the net is attached to),
and that fine powder that takes for ever to clean up everywhere!! Gang,
I'm not happy right now."
I was actually being very nice in my post, but in all honesty I was ticked off!! And, to top it off it's my first day of that time of the month (TOM).
I'm sharing this because I want to give you insight of how I'm handling a situation that is very unpleasant. And, if I continue to allow this to chew at me, my whole day will be ruined.
So, I'm glad this has happened. I began to work on other projects at my home that I've been putting off for several months. Honestly, if this did not happen today I would not be tackling these projects.
What I'm trying to say is this, "Even though you may encounter a situations/issues/problems during the course of the day try to find the good out of what has happened."
Ok, is it easy to find the good out of something bad? H-E-double hockey sticks NO!
But when you do you find yourself in a better place. The people around you will thank you for it, and you will be happier!!
You're the BEst!!!
